Battles and warfare are a staple in many D&D campaigns. Being them against hobgobling armies, orc hordes or small groups of raiders, most of these battles can shape an entire campaign or give a climatic finale to a long campaign.
These supplement provides several battle formations, such as phalanxes, shield walls or wedges, each one with a few benefits and weaknesses, entirely compatible with the spirit and the rules of D&D 5th Edition. It also has a few maneuvers (such as a cavalry charge) and a general system to perform any formation.
The formations also cover the common topic about magic interaction in a battlefield, and provides several ways to deal with it (a few of them inspired in the Shield Master feat).
