The attack came with the sun's rise.  Bursting from his yurt, Urag emerged to a village in chaos—the voices of his comrades only half discernable among the clash and clang of metal, and the cries of the dying.  The Talons were here. Sent by the humans to drive us from our ancestral home. At the onset of winter, a death sentence.  Barely able to hear his own labored breathing, his eyes searched frantically for Warleader Batul. Turning aside the thrust of a spear and knocking the man aside, he stumbled through the bitter snowfall, slipping on ice and mud.  He spied Batul outside the tannery, a bullwark against enemy spears with a small company of warriors. Batul turned, their eyes locking momentarily. Bellowing a war cry, he charged to meet another blow. ...

The Gambler is a new risk-taking roguish archetype for 5E! Why Play a Gambler? Thematically, the gambler is a new player option for risk-taking or thrill-seeking characters who always have an ace up their sleeve! Mechanically, the gambler provides players with a wide-ranging toolbox that always gives them an angle or chink in the armor to try and exploit. The cornerstone feature—Lucky Strike—is all about manipulating the advantage mechanic, enforcing the theme of taking bold risks for a big payoff (or go catastropically wrong!) while also functioning as a fun and unique Sneak Attack progression. Oh, and since I know you're going to ask: the odds of success when using Lucky Strike are approximately 64%, rising to 80% at 17th level ;) Take a Look! Click the previ...

After watching the Mandalorian, I'm sure you or one of your players would love to play as Mando. Well now you can! Introducing the Oath of the Mandalorian. I chose to make this a paladin oath, because as mando said, "Mandalorian isn't a race, it's a creed." The oath spells are literally just your mandalorian equipment, and channel divinity options are your disintigrator gun and beskar (sorry, your beskar/plot armor isn't permanent). Have fun playing your mandalorian, it is the way.

Dr. Flumph's Tome of Useful Spells

Some backstory to the name: in my homebrew world, my players met a flumph in the underdark who I named on the fly Dr. Flumph (I know, original). After a long conversation with him I wasn't prepared for, they discovered that he had been inventing a ton of utility spells that most adventurers would consider handy, and after convincing from my players, I wrote down the spells he (koff koff, I) invented. It is actually just a list of 17 homebrew spells I have made for various campaigns of various themes over the years. Some of them are reskinned/reflavored PHB spells, while some are based off of video games/movies. Enjoy!

Ever wanted to have a stand, but still wanted be more rogue like, you know like Joker from Persona 5? Or maybe you wanted to have some evil little spirit minions? Or perhaps you wanted to be like one of the characters from Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles? And what the heck do they have to do with each other?

Introducing the Channeler Class for D&D 5e! They draw their power from essences, whether it be a powerful Persona (or stand), from spirits, or even from gods. It should run like a cross between Paladin, Sorcerer, and Rogue. And be sure to check out my Dr. Flumph's Tome of Useful Spells for more spells for Channelers and other classes!

So I made 7 new homebrew Monk Traditions for my group. Many are based of of traditions from Naruto: Shonen Jump, while others were just some fun mental exercsises fo rme.

Introducing: Way of Clonejutsu, Way of the Hidden Mist, Way of the Savage Desert, Way of the Expanding Body, Way of Insatiable Wrath, Way of the Ki Stealer, Way of the Spiny Hedgehog, plus Genjutsu and Monk Feats and optional Monk rules.

Something interesting in this homebrew packet is the Genjutsu. since it is nija arts based on a unique genetic trait. I decided it would be better expressed as feats that can be taken multiple times (especially since the PHB mentions you can only take feats multiple times if it says so, then doesn't have any examples), expressed on your character sheet as Byakugan I, Byakugan II, etc.

So whether you are a big Naruto fan or just want some new Monk traditions, please enjoy!

Way of the Four Elements is a fun option in the PHB. But there is also the topic of mixing elements to create other effects. For example, lightning can be made using Fire and Air, or mist could be made by Air and water. This Way of the Four Elements Expanded gives you or your players the option to mix elements.

Ever wanted to play as a Jedi Knight or a Sith Lord? Well now you can! Introducing Paladin Oaths: Oath of the Jedi and Oath of the Sith! I have seen jedi done as monks, but the capabilites of the jedi to use the force doesn't really translate well to ki points in my opinion, and they have more paladin like tendencies (even if they don't utilize their plate armor proficiency, except back before the Old Republic). So go grab your lightsaber, drive your DM/GM crazy by making the sound effects while you use it, and enjoy playing your Jedi/Sith.

Ever wanted to be a cyborg in D&D? Now you can! Introducing the Arcanetic, magic powered cyborgs. An overview of some lore I created for them is included, although if you want to just use the stats as a straight up cyborg and ignore the lore, feel free to do that too. It is a particularly interesting race because it is a modular race. That's right, instead of subraces, you can make choices about your ability score increase and cyborg mods, so each one is totally unique! So whether you want to be General Grievous, Cyborg, or any other cybernetic character, strap that arm cannon or extra arms on and join the fray!

Ever wanted to play a skeleton, ghost, or zombie character, but your DM/GM was like "No. There aren't any balanced undead races"? Introducing the Half-Dead, a race of pseudo-undead that are the result of horrible magical diseases or magical accidents (diseaes included in the pdf). The subclasses are The Fleshless (skeletons), The Boneless (ghosts), and The Brainless (Zombies). Calendar of the Cosmos: Heroes of Ice

In the cold, in the Long Dark, many dangers await. And wherever there is danger, there are Heroes.

From subclasses with Ice running through their every ability like the Path of the Arctic Fury Barbarian, Snowfall Specter Rogue, and the Path of the Pristine Breath Monk, to those who play on this theme a bit more like the Oath of the Rime Warden Paladin, the Veil Domain Cleric, and the Patron of the Crystal Shadow Warlock, most facets of the icy heart of winter have been considered and represented in this book.

And with the addition of a series of 13 spells exclusive to these subclasses, as well as 20 brand new feats inspired by a variety of topics, those facets have been polished to a mirror shine.

But there is a danger to winter, and immortal schemers dwell in the Long Night. Capping off the content of this book are a series of monstrous terrors, each and every one based off of dire entities of mythology from ages long past.

Can you resist the forces of the Long Dark? Can you stand against the dark, ineffable will of the Lady of Winter? Or will you dance like a puppet on her icy strings as have so many adventurers before you?

WARFORGED!: The Primech - A New Warforged Variant

From the Records of Ignys Byr, Leader of the Arbiters:

We are the Primechs, pillars of all that is good with the warforged. We were selected by the Principle – the first of our ilk – to accept the Core of Shifting, the first of its kind. With this Core, we were able to assume forms of mighty beasts and aid on the front lines.

Primechs, shift and scatter!

The Primechs are gifted with a unique component called the Core of Shifting. This core allows a Primech to shift into an alternate form of various different beasts. Some are even strong enough and have trained for long enough that they are able to have two or three alternate forms. Two factions have formed within them; the honorable and valorous Arbiters, and the bloodthirsty and dangerous Deceivers.

"Till under one forge we rest!"

This warforged variant is compatible with Eberron: Rising from the Last War.

Enhanced Goblinoids, Gnolls, Kobolds & Orcs – an Eventyr Games Compendium

There’s classic fantasy foes, and then there’s goblins, gnolls, kobolds and orcs – these are the bread and butter of any classic Dungeons & Dragons-game. Hell, at this point you can barely call yourself an adventurer if you haven’t struck down at least a handful of these monstrous humanoids.

However, if you’re just starting up your third or fourth 5E campaign, you may be looking at the goblin’s statblock and thinking: ‘ungh, so we’re back to this then, huh?’. There just isn’t a whole lot of options when it comes to these murderous peeps, and not much in the way of tactical depth either.

In this document, we aim to solve this problem, as we take a close look at bugbears, hobgoblins, goblins, gnolls, kobolds and orcs, giving them all additional actions in combat. The point isn’t to make these monsters more powerful – although versatility is rarely a weakness – but to make them more dynamic, flavorful and tactically challenging for both the DM and the players.

This PDF comes in both full-color and printer friendly versions and contains enhanced versions of 16 goblinoids, gnolls, kobolds and orcs from the Monster Manual:

  • Bugbears
    • Bugbear
    • Bugbear Chief
