Having rescued a group of abducted nomads, the heroes head off in search of the ruins of an ancient elven civilization. All that remains intact is the unusual tower of an elf mage and whatever lies within.
Following on from The Elven Crown: Nomads and Slavers, The Ruins of Askavar offers the heroes the opportunity to learn more about the artifact they found and the people to whom it belonged.
Continuing to build the level of complexity, the adventure is the third module in The Elven Crown campaign, following on from Elven Crown: A Legacy Uncovered, and The Elven Crown: Nomads and Slavers.
It is designed for four level three characters and should run for four to five hours.
Included in the adventure is a full colour map, a unique magical item , a stat block for a variant drow, three riddles and the main dungeon is designed as relatively simple puzzle.
Though set in Faerûn, as a single-shot adventure, its location is very easily modified.
